Key West Hosts The 28th Annual Queen Mother Pageant

Beauty_queen
This annual celebration, always held on the Monday after Mother’s Day, is not a family event – it does get rather “colorful”.  However it is a wild and fun part of the Key West tradition and raises money for important work of Hospice and V.N.A. of Monroe County. The Queen Mother is selected to be a representative at many community events and charitable causes during the year. This year’s pageant will be held at LaTeDa on Duval Street from 7:00 – 10:30 p.m. on Monday, May 9.
