Thanks to the celebration of “Free Entrance Days in the National Parks” from April 16-24, you can visit the unique Dry Tortugas National Park located on a remote island 70 miles from the southernmost city in the United States, Key West. The area is famous for legends of pirates and sunken gold as well as its bountiful bird and marine life. The park is actually located inside one on the largest coastal forts every built, Fort Jefferson.
